Has opened at a swanky new address, Cunningham Road.. and so we had to try it out. The menu has minor tweaks, but the food is as good as it ever was. Bangalore Bistro this time round, has concentrated on a more authentic Italian menu, along with better ambience as well, and it seems to work perfectly.
What We Ordered:
- The Mezze Platter – It has the perfect ganoush, hummus and pita (with a little surprised stuffed in it). Would definitely get again.
- Mushy Gnocchi – Beautiful balance between the right amount of cream, and the right amount of spinach. All in all, a winner of a veggie dish.
- Chicken & Sun Dried Tomato Penne – Amazingly yummy for just being this very dish. Thumbs up.
Seriously though, apart from the food, we just adored the whole mosaic look they have going on. It transports you to Europe and adds to the whole experience. The outdoors is a quaint little balcony overlooking Cunningham Road. Definitely a good place to sit and enjoy the house red. 😉
We’re surprised this joint hasn’t picked up as much as it should’ve, what with the perfect address, good pricing, lovely authentic cuisine and such lovely decor. We definitely heart it, and have another visit planned! x
