Next on our Christmas menu specials, is all-time Bangalore favourite, Shiro! They have a limited, but pretty much flawless 3 course menu. You won’t be perplexed as they’ve just set it right (even paired a lovely Sula wine with it).


Turkey Nest Dumpling (below) – We still are not over these. These absolutely delish threaded dumplings had the meltiest turkey and mushroom filling. It was the right balance of creamy and meaty. Unlike other crispy covered dumplings we’ve had, this one was easy to cut, and didn’t disintegrate like a mess. If we had a third hand, this would be a triple thumbs up!


Crispy Duck Makimono (below) – If turkey isn’t your meat, or better yet.. sushi is more up your alley, this is the one for you. Firstly, the presentation just blew us away (what a CUTE wasabi leaf!), but the dish didn’t let down either. The duck was moist, and the right amount with the beautiful sesame sprinkled al dente sushi. The cucumber and hoison added a nice touch, and elevated the taste bud tingle!



Asian Spiced Turkey Breast (below) – A Christmas favourite, Shiro gave their turkey a little Pan Asian twist of course. Their turkey was rubbed with a variety of Asian spices and really tender. The plum sauce had subtle hints of ginger and provided a nice taste to the otherwise white meat. Special shout out to the lovely glazed potatoes that came as a side, and the fresh water chestnuts that kept popping up in every Hibachi rice bite! Loved it.



Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake – Even though we didn’t try this one out, the dessert is included in your 3 course experience, and honestly sounds like heaven. What’s better than hearty chocolate sponge at the end of a Christmas dinner? Very few things.

The above meal is available for dinner on the 24th of Dec and for lunch/dinner on Christmas Day (25th Dec).

We think it’s a pretty good deal at Rs.1500 (all inclusive) and what makes it even better is, you get to choose your poison from 2 glasses of Sula Rose, Satori or Chenin Blanc. Slurp! xx
