Hope everyone is relaxed after the last few long weekends.  You know what’s great after some time off?  Yep, you guessed it:  Some quick and non-easy workouts that will leave you fitter, healthier and happier!  Remember, one of these can be done at home, the other at a gym.

At Home:  

I got a chance to do this workout with a group of young fitness fanatics, and I have to say, if you do this one before work, you will be ready to take on anything the day may throw at you:

10 burpees
15 180 jump squats
25 sit ups
30 seconds rest

Repeat 5 times

Want a super challenge?  Perform all rounds WITHOUT rest and try to do the whole workout in less than 10 minutes.

Working out with a friend?  See who can finish the whole workout first (with or without rest intervals).  Loser has to buy the protein shakes or take you out to a post-workout meal.

At The Gym: 

10 goblet squats (with dumbbell or plate)
10 dumbbell push up row (each arm)
10 goblet squats (with dumbbell or plate) 
10 strict dumbbell shoulder press
400 meter run on treadmill

Repeat three times

Important: Dumbbell weight should be heavy enough that by the time you reach the 10th rep of each movement is difficult to complete.
