The Bangalore Literature Festival is back!

The Bangalore Literature Festival (BLF) truly shows us the wonders of reading and writing, and guess what? BLF is back for the fourth time! The festival celebrates the creativity and literary diversity Bangalore has to offer. So all you bookworms and writers out there, this is definitely something you should check out. You’ll get to meet writers, authors, and personalities from all over the state, country, and even the world.

Being an annual flagship event, one of the festival’s main goals is to promote the love for literature while fostering reading and writing amongst the youth of Bangalore. Oh, and did we mention it’s a 2 day long festival?

blf1There are over 30 activities and plenty of participants, so you’re in for a real treat. From workshops to discussions, here’s what we’re interested in:

Day 1 – Ethnic identities in the midst of crisis, Eight Threats to Freedom of Expression, The New Age Romantics, and The Atta Galatta -Bangalore Literature Festival Book Awards.

Day 2 – Tipu Sultan and and the Re-fashioning of History, Pangs of Separation – Partition tales, Creating your protagonist – The agony and ecstasy, Are we heading towards an intolerant India today?
