As most of you know, Church Street is home to almost everything under the sun – from tattoo parlous to pet stores and of course, bars and restaurants. The hustle and bustle has gone up a notch because of its newest gastro-pub called Chugg.
If you’re into multi-cuisine pub grub, a funky drink or two, and a lovely view of Bangalore, then what’s not to love?
Chugg is well known for its view of the city and their well crafted and innovative cocktails. For example, try their variations of a classic martini. As mentioned, the food available is from more than one cuisine, so you can have Chikmagalur Pork Pepper Fry, Andhra Biryani, or another classic – a good ol’ burger. The idea behind the food is to be wholesome and satisfying, while epitomising comfort food.
Entertainment wise, if you’re a karaoke fan (let’s be honest – who isn’t?), hit Chugg up on Friday nights.
