Bangalore, get a taste of Bihar on December 5th with an 11 course authentic meal! A Bihari herself, Dolly Singh is a home chef who organises food pop-ups (Home Cafe) in Mumbai. She mainly works with Bihari, Bengali, and Tibetan Cuisines. This time she is coming to Bangalore to join hands with Slurp Studio for a 11 course Bihari dinner.
Wondering what exactly Bihari cuisine is? Here are some of the dishes Dolly will be making:
- Litti – a traditional Bihari dish made out of spicy and tangy sattu masala (roasted gram-flour) stuffed in whole-wheat dough.
- Sarson Machli (non-veg)– fish cooked in spicy mustard tomato sauce.
- Paneer Masala (veg) – fresh homemade paneer in a spicy gravy.
- Kalongi Baigan – a dry brinjal (eggplant) recipe with freshly grounded masala.
