It’s August and as per usual the entire nation is wrapped in the spirit of the tricolour with grand celebrations for Independence Day. This year marks the 70th anniversary and the Taj West End has a treat for your taste buds!

What do you mean?

Yes, you read right! One of our Luru favs. The Taj West End is serving up a special menu from now until the 15th of Aug, where you can order a dish off the exact same menu that was… wait for it, served at The Taj Mahal Palace while Lord Louis Mountbatten gave his last speech as the Governor-General. We’ve got goosebumps!

No way, what can I order?

This special menu crafted by Executive Chef, Sandip Narang showcases dishes featuring the rich culture of India and its heritage are perfectly compiled to take us back into time to relive the historical moment when the announcement of India’s independence was made.
