Yes, our favourite Mexican joint Sanchez has rolled out a whole new menu, in addition to the old favs of course (can never get enough of the chorizo molletitos and fish taqitos!).
The nuevo stuff we ate…
Mexican Ceviche with Red Snapper (below) – A sucker for any ceviche, we had to sample this one! Their ceviche is made with their fresh catch of the day and is cured in spiced fresh lime juice & orange juice! This is a must-hai summer refresher instead of a standard steaming hot main course.
Poblano Chicken Mole Taquitos (above) – Succulent shredded chicken in poblano mole just as the name suggests with Mexican rice and refried beans. Psst! There’s also a green mole, and vegetarian version of these.
Sanchez Burrito bowl with Quinoa (below) – Ours came with the serrano spiced grilled prawns with beautifully charred corn on the cob as a side. Triple bonus on using a healthy supplement for rice!
We absolutely hearted the incredible live guacamole station where the chef prepares is as per your requirement, table side.
Our personal favourite from all the ones they offer on the menu is the charred corn & black beans, it can never go wrong. All the guacs are served with an assortment of yellow corn, blue corn chips, roasted tomato salsa and sour cream.
